INTRODUCTION
Applications are now open for the Green Digital Fellowship Programme 2026–2027, a fully funded international fellowship that empowers young people across the European Union with practical digital communication, storytelling, and campaigning skills.
Hosted by the Greens/European Free Alliance (Greens/EFA), the programme brings together aspiring communicators, content creators, and advocates who are passionate about climate action, democracy, equality, and social justice. Over nine months, fellows will participate in expert-led online workshops, practical assignments, and fully funded training sessions in Brussels, Belgium, with selected participants also invited to the European Youth Event (EYE) 2027 in Strasbourg, France.
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The Green Digital Fellowship runs from September 2026 to May 2027 and is designed to help participants become effective digital storytellers capable of creating compelling content that drives social and environmental change.
Throughout the fellowship, participants will collaborate with experienced journalists, campaigners, digital strategists, and communications professionals while working on real-world communication campaigns.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must:
- Be students or young professionals.
- Reside in a European Union (EU) Member State.

- Be passionate about digital communication, storytelling, and content creation.
- Be available to participate throughout the fellowship period.
The organisers especially encourage applications from individuals who are underrepresented in politics and the media.
