Bosun Tijani Foundation Gen AI Fellowship 2026 for Young Nigerians (₦50,000 Monthly Stipend)

Applications are now open for the Bosun Tijani Foundation Gen AI Fellowship 2026, a fully funded six-month programme designed to equip young Nigerians with practical, industry-relevant skills in Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).

Organised by the Bosun Tijani Foundation in partnership with the Ogun State Government Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, the fellowship combines intensive technical training, mentorship, hands-on projects, and career support to prepare participants for opportunities in the rapidly growing AI industry.

Building on the success of its inaugural cohort, which trained more than 80 fellows in 2025, the programme aims to strengthen Nigeria's AI talent pipeline and complement national initiatives such as the National AI Strategy and the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Programme by developing the next generation of AI innovators.

Applicants can apply to one of two specialised learning tracks:

AI Engineering Track

Participants will receive practical training in:

• AI Model Deployment

AI Application Track

This track focuses on building AI-powered applications using modern development technologies, including:

• Next.js
• React
• OpenAI and Claude API Integration
• AI Product Design and User Experience (UX)
• Relational Databases
• Building production-ready AI applications

Successful fellows will receive:
