GET Compass SME Grant 2026 in Nigeria | Up to ₦2 Million Business Grant

The Grooming Endowment Trust (GET) has opened applications for the GET Compass SME Grant 2026, offering financial support and business capacity-building opportunities to eligible early-stage businesses across Nigeria.

The programme provides up to ₦2 million in grant funding to selected businesses, alongside practical business development training, mentorship, advisory services, and capacity-building opportunities to help entrepreneurs strengthen and scale their businesses.

As part of the programme, successful applicants will participate in a mandatory two-week business development workshop in Lagos, where they will receive hands-on training from experienced business professionals and industry experts.

The GET Compass is one of the flagship enterprise development initiatives of the Grooming Endowment Trust, a non-profit organisation established to promote sustainable development through investments in education, health, enterprise, and community development.

The programme supports promising small businesses by combining financial assistance with practical business development support. Rather than providing funding alone, GET Compass equips entrepreneurs with the knowledge, mentorship, and professional guidance needed to improve business operations, increase sustainability, and position their businesses for long-term growth.

Selected participants will complete a structured business development programme before accessing grant funding and ongoing advisory support.

Successful applicants will receive:

• Grant funding of up to ₦2 million

Applicants must:

• Be Nigerian citizens aged 18 years or older
• Own a business that is not more than three years old
• Operate a registered business (CAC or another recognised business registration)
• Provide evidence that the business is currently operational and functioning as a going concern
• Be available to attend the mandatory two-week business development workshop in Lagos if selected

Applicants should be prepared to provide:

• Business registration documents (CAC or other recognised registration)
• Evidence that the business is currently operational
• Any additional documents requested during the application process

Applications will undergo a review process based on programme eligibility requirements. Successful applicants will be invited to participate in the mandatory business development workshop, mentorship sessions, and other capacity-building activities before receiving grant support.
