The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting the institution's financial and operational assets while ensuring compliance with established policies and internal control procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct periodic internal audits across finance, administration, procurement, inventory, and operational units.
• Review financial transactions and operational processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify control weaknesses, operational risks, and potential fraud, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor adherence to internal control policies and financial procedures.
• Prepare internal audit reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for management.
• Support external audit exercises and coordinate with regulatory bodies when required.
• Monitor inventory management and safeguard institutional assets.
• Investigate financial irregularities and policy violations.
• Assist management in strengthening internal control systems and improving operational efficiency.

Applicants should possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in internal audit, internal control, financial control, or risk management.
• Previous experience in an educational institution or private school environment is an added advantage.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA will be highly advantageous.
